Since 2013, Nicolas Pinon has been exclusively dedicated to Japanese lacquer and divides his time between restoration and the creation of jewellery or furniture. Today, while still working with lacquer using traditional techniques, he conducts research using new technologies. He is currently working on flexible surfaces in 3D printing and laser engraving of lacquer.
